Seeing the wicked witch today!

My family and I refer to my oncologist as the wicked witch... Seems more appropriate now that Halloween is this weekend. Dr. Kathy Albain is my oncologist, she is out of Loyola University Hospital. She really has no grace or humanity when it comes to talking to and treating her patients. Although she's a well known oncologist, who has been  recognized for her research in many magazines and by other doctors, she has a brutal bedside manner. Some of my favorite comments she has said to me during my appointments over the years:  •"if you decide to go to Mexico for alternative treatments, I will no longer treat you or be your doctor" •"why aren't you smiling, you never show emotion with good or bad news"  AND MY FAVORITE •"why are you crying?, you already got these results earlier" (found out a few days earlier that my cancer spread to my spine and brain)

So as you can see, she's a real peach. 🍑

Mmm I wish I had a big juicy peach right now... HUNGRY!
